Meet Doug French, Our New Outside Sales Representative!

California Lighting Sales is excited to welcome Doug French to the team as our newest Outside Sales Representative! With 10 years of experience in the lighting industry and a background in construction, Doug brings a strong understanding of the industry, a passion for building relationships, and plenty of experience to his new role at CLS.

Doug’s lighting career began in order entry at a lighting agency, where he worked his way through the industry and eventually into outside sales. Along the way, he’s had the opportunity to work with several organizations and build valuable experience in both lighting and construction.

“I take a lot of pride in being an outside salesperson because it’s something I worked hard for,” Doug shared. Now, he’s excited to bring what he’s learned throughout his career to CLS.

In his new role, Doug is looking forward to meeting new people, reconnecting with old friends, and working with CLS’s diverse manufacturer portfolio. With so many manufacturers offering different products and specialties, he sees each new project as an opportunity to learn something new while helping customers find the right products for their needs

When he’s not working, Doug likes to stay active and involved in his community. On the weekends, you might find him at a local park playing basketball or riding his bike. He also loves being around the water and enjoys swimming.

And there’s an exciting milestone ahead for Doug: he’s getting married in March! He enjoys spending time with his future wife and is looking forward to the big day.
