In an effort to improve their customers’ travel experiences, Qantas built a luxury lounge in terminal 1 providing every comfort and featuring innovative CoeLux® lighting systems to provide simulated natural light.
Created by the AustralianCaon Studio and Akin Atelier, the Qantas Lounge is an open space spanning 1,000 square meters, offering multiple relaxation areas, a cocktail bar, a VIP room, and bathrooms with showers. The various areas are defined by partitions and walls with strategic apertures to favor privacy without weighing down the setting.
CoeLux 45 HC and CoeLux LS Matte were installed in the VIP areas and bathroom suites to offer visitors the feeling of being under a clear blue sky with bright sunshine. This setting helps travelers relax while waiting for their next flight and helps reduce jet lag.
